PARK & RIDE

RTC is providing FREE TRANSIT on Route 16 for Reno LaborFest. Don't fight traffic. Park in the Washoe County public parking lot by the Courthouse in downtown Reno and ride Route 16 for free to and from Idlewild Park!

Buses marked “Special”, or “Route 16” will be FREE and will take passengers to Idlewild Park, but only the “Special” (might say “Holiday”) bus will pick up at the Court St Parking Lot. The bus going to Idlewild Park will be coming down (south) on Sierra St and turn left (east) on Court St, pick up (clock symbol on map) passengers before turning right (south) on S. Virginia.  Passengers should get off on either the first or second stop on Idlewild Drive.

When leaving Idlewild Park, passengers need to take the “Special” bus if they want to be dropped off adjacent to the Court St Parking Lot. The drop off should be on S. Virgina just before Court St.

Please use this information as a guide and use common sense. This is the most current information, and may change. Special thanks to Regional Transportation Commission of Washoe County - RTC and Teamsters Local 533
